Minister to Students:
Rev. Kenny Martin
Bro. Kenny has been working with youth for over 15 years. In 1997 he was called as Minister to Students at West End Baptist, and Crossroads StudentMinistries was born. In 2002, he was called into full-time ministry working with students from the 4th grade though college. In 2005, Kenny and Jessica welcomed into the world their first child, Barrett Kademan Martin.
Bro. Kenny and his wife Jessica, work with students from all over Chilton County. The student ministry is based around the idea of the "CROSS": Care, Reach, Offer, Share, and Service. Our students are a very important part of what we as West End Baptist are.
The Crossroads StudentMinistry mission statement is..."To know Jesus and make Jesus known". That is our goal, and that is our desire. Come join us as we make a difference in tomorrow...Today!
"My greatest desire is to help our students grow in a personal living relationship with God. The time for this relationship is now. My goal is help them find God's will in their life, and live by his guidance. At Crossroads, we do not want to be a youth group, but a Youth Ministry. Centered around the will of God and willing to serve and minister to all. To encourage them to live a life worthy of the name they have been given... 'Christian.' Regardless of who you are or what you have done, God's love for you is real and unconditional. With an Angel on our Shoulder and Love in our Hearts, we WILL make a difference. "
In Christ Alone, Bro. KennyM Galatians 2:20
