Rev. Eddie Lightsey
Bro. Eddie has been serving Southern Baptist Churches for over 18 years in Alabama and Louisiana. In May of 1997, God led he and his family to West End Baptist Church to serve as Minister of Music.His wife Sharon is active in several areas of the church and his two children, Jordan and Allie Grace are growing up being very involved as well.
Bro. Eddie believes that music is a vital part of worship and is a powerful tool in helping prepare the hearts of worshipers by lifting up praises to our God. Through congregational singing, instrumental music, choral praise and individual offerings of song, we are able to accomplish our three-fold theme...to Glorify, Edify, and Testify. He believes that the only prerequisite for being involved in the music ministry is a willing heart, and the door is always open for anyone wanting to find their place at West End Baptist Church

I plan on spending eternity singing the praises of the God who created me, loved me and saved me in spite of who I am. My genuine prayer is that you would be there too.
