This is Your Life
Statistics say that 10 out of 10 people will die. It's true, we all have an appointment with death. The question is, "What happens after I die?"
God has given us 10 Commandments for us to base our lives on. Let's see how you do...
Have you ever lied?(including little white lies and fibs) One of God's Commandments is "You should not lie"...
Have you ever stolen anything?(regardless of the value) Another Commandment is "You should not steal"
Have you ever lusted after someone? It says in The Bible that if you have lusted after someone, then you have committed adultery in your heart. God tells us in one of His Commandments that we should not committ adultery. Now if you have answered yes to these three questions, then you are by your own admission a lying, stealing, adulterer. These are just three out of ten of the Commandments. On Judgment Day if you were judged by these standards, would you be guilty or innocent?
If you are guilty, you will not go to Heaven. So how do I go to Heaven?
Let's see what the Bible says.
Romans 3:23 says that all have sinned
Romans 6:23 says the the price of our sin is death
Romans 5:8 says while we were sinners, Jesus Christ died for us
Romans 10:9-13 says that if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
This is what you must do to be saved and spend eternity in Heaven. Now the question is... What will you do?
Heaven or Hell... it's Your Choice!
If you would like to make the Choice of asking Jesus Christ into you heart, here's how to do it...Say
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I want to ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I believe that You are the Son of God and that you died on the Cross for my sins and for you rose again. Come into my heart and make me new. Today I give you my heart.
If you have made that choice, we want to encourage you to come see us here at West End Baptist or a Bible teaching Jesus serving church of your choice and share your decision with their pastor. May God continue to grow you into the Christian He created you to be. Welcome to the Family!
