October 3: Hispanic Coat Ministry. Please have your extra coats cleaned and bring them to the church. We will donate them to our Hispanic friends, many of whom have never owned a coat (or had need of one) prior to a winter in Alabama. Please pray that each person who is warmed by a physical coat will learn of the spiritual comfort that can only be found in Jesus’ love.

October 10th: World Hunger Day & Canned Food Drive. Our children are already collecting money in their rice bowls in preparation for World Hunger Day. Please encourage them in this mission effort as they begin a lifetime focus on missions. Also on World Hunger Day, we will be collecting canned foods for our local food pantry. Please pray that those who are nourished by this food will find spiritual nourishment in an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ.
